Shareholders

Our shareholders are important to us - and we provide much of our information for our investors here.  Please keep this page in your "Favourites" and come back regularly for information that may help you manage your investment in the company.

We are an unlisted public company, with more than 720 shareholders, most of whom live in the in the Mundaring region of Western Australia. Our shareholders raised the capital necessary to establish the company and purchase the franchise with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group Limited in 2001 that led to the opening of the Mundaring Community Bank® Branch Bendigo Bank in February 2002. Our constitution allows for 'one shareholder, one vote' and limits ownership to 10% or less per shareholder (or within a shareholder's control).  This helps us to remain community focussed and managed.

Our latest audited financial report has now been released and is available here.

Our constitution regulates the amounts that we may pay as dividends to our shareholders as a balance against our community distributions.  No dividend was paid for the 2008/09 financial year and we have a very limited community investment program in 2009/10.

The company is registered under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) and operates as a public company limited by shares. We are a disclosing entity and we use our website for disclosure purposes as approved by ASIC.  Shares are not listed on the stock exchange at a national level (Australian Stock Exchange - ASX) or through the Bendigo Stock Exchange (BSX). Shares may be bought and sold through private transactions between buyers and sellers using the approved Low Volume Market.
