MCFS has always had a strategy to put funds back into the community - it's in our constitution.
We work on an "asset based community development" model, where we look at the physical, human and community assets and build strengths on the gaps identified. We offer community groups the opportunity to apply for funding, resources and even a staff member on a short term basis if that is what is needed - what we want to do is keep the passion alive in our community...by helping you to do what you love and do best, whilst assisting with the "hard stuff".
In 2010/11 we provided more than $85,000 of funding and resources to our community: Bank with us and the community benefits says it all. This support has been provide through sponsorships, grants, use of our community mobile eftpos service and the market stall at the Mundaring Sunday Markets as well as promotional and advertising support.
