Company Structure
Mundaring Community Financial Services Ltd is a public company (unlisted) formed for the purpose of operating the franchise for the Bendigo Bank Community Bank(R) Branch in Mundaring, Western Australia. The company was formed in 2001 and opened the branch in February 2002. There are 720 shareholders, primarily local people from the Shire of Mundaring, who raised the capital and started the company in response to the closure of the last retial banking branch in the area.
The company is managed by a Board of Directors, elected by the shareholders, and two managers - a branch manager who manages the retail branch in conjunction with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group, and a corporate manager who manages the company and community side of the business.
